Experienced oilers were asked ...

I enjoy making my own bath salts and I want to try something new.  I have my tried and true mixtures ... but what are your favorites?

Here's their favorites!
  • Frankincense and Wild Orange
  • Serenity Calming Blend
  • Lavender and Wild Orange
  • White Fir + Lavender + Serenity Calming Blend + Wild Orange
  • Soothing Blend
  • Wintergreen
  • Lavender
  • Ylang ylang + Lavender
  • Lemongrass + Serenity Calming Blend + Balance  + Vetiver + Cedarwood. Great sleep!
  • Balance Grounding Blend + Wild Orange
  • Eucalyptus
  • Lavender + Peppermint (needless to say...very LITTLE peppermint!)
  • Lavender + Lemongrass + Peppermint
  • Spearmint + Eucalyptus = heavenly together
  • Spearmint + Lemongrass
  • Douglas Fir + Grapefruit
  • Aromatouch
  • Balance Grounding Blend
  • Breathe Respiratory Blend
  • Peppermint
  • Eucalyptus + Lime
  • Ginger + Lime
  • Serenity Calming Blend + Wild Orange
  • Lavender + Ylang Ylang
  • Lavender + Peppermint + Wild Orange
  • Melaleuca + Breathe Respiratory Blend
  • Citrus bliss
  • Joyful Blend
  • I toss all my empty bottles into a big jar of Epsom salts. The leaches out the remainder of the oils. I'm constantly adding and taking out salt and bottles. The smell is AMAZING. Seriously, it's the smell of everything and magical.

What a great gift a pretty jar of bath salts would make!

Here's a recipe in the graphic below, but honestly I usually just make my bath salts on-the-fly to meet whatever need I have at the moment (muscle support, relaxing, respiratory support, etc.).  I also usually use more oils than this calls for.

My recipe:  I take a cup of Epsom Salts (sometimes I add Baking Soda, sometimes I don't) and drop whatever oils I want into the cup of salt.  I usually use 4 - 6 drops to one cup of salts..  Easy!

And please, please remember --
One of the most vital things you must know about essential oils is not all essential oils are created equally. Many - if not most - brands should not be ingested as they are not tested for purity.  In fact, most of them are worthless to your health and often synthetic.
